049
We’ve uploaded the photos from the Cubs latest weekend away. This time they went to The Craigs Scout Centre, in West Lothian. The activities were straight out a Bear Grylls TV show, with backwoods cooking, shelter making, adventure parks and obstacle courses.

Check out what they got up to in the gallery.

Kandersteg finally arrives

Well its taken a while, but we’ve finally uploaded the photos from this summer’s expedition to Kandersteg International Scout Centre, in Switzerland. And, as a special bonus, we’ve also uploaded the movie file that we showed at the Kandersteg Presentation evening.

Scouts and parents can request high res versions of both the photos and the video by speaking to one of the leaders.

If you get the chance, take a glance!

A couple of new albums were uploaded to the Gallery. Just a few photos from the Cubs at the Glasgow Science Centre for Halloween, and the Scouts hill-walk up the Cobbler. Looks like the cubs had an amazing time... the scouts don’t look quite as happy ....

Tigers, Zebras and the 185!

Well, looks like the cubs had another amazing out-and-about activity. This time at Edinburgh Zoo, where they got to see loads of animals in the zoo, as well as a special workshop with the zoo rangers. Some of the cubs were brave enough to get very up close and personal with a snake and other creatures ...

Decoration Fundraiser a huge hit!

This note in from the fund raising group.

“185 scouts would like to thank all those who supported their wreath making evening at the beginning of December.

The evening was a great success a we raised over £450.

Everyone who came enjoyed the evening and were pleasantly surprised at their creative talents, with everyone taking away their own festive creation.

We have received such positive feedback that we are planning to hold a similar event next year so watch this space for details.

Thanks again to all who supported us”.
